Our product line is always expanding, so check our ‘New’ section periodically. Our preference for using local Newfoundland materials dictates that birch, pine, balsam fir and tamarack are used primarily, but some pieces make use of non-Newfoundland species for structural or aesthetic reasons. Generally, the type of wood used depends on its physical properties.

All of our furniture is constructed using the best traditional joinery methods which ensure longevity and authenticity. We use a two-part epoxy on all worked joints ie,legs, rails, rungs and spindles, as their joints receive the critical stress.

We offer a wide range of finishes, including milk paint, acrylic/latex paint, oil paint, stain, varnish and distressed finishes. We make use of multicoloured layered finishes and glazes which produce interesting and subtle effects. Custom decorative painting can be arranged . All finishes are applied by hand which gives the furniture a uniquely personal look.

Should our furniture fail at any time during the lifetime of the original owner because of workmanship or material, we will either repair or replace it. This includes items listed in our showroom only.
